Warren Woodlawn Cemetery board holds annual meeting

The Warren Woodlawn Cemetery board held its annual meeting on Aug. 19 at the home of Guy Jackson.

Board members learned that the tree removal project is slow but showing a great amount of progress. This project was fully funded by donations the board received for this project.

A decision on the 2014 mowing season was tabled until next meeting when more information will be available.
Several burial sites are still available for purchase.

An increase in the cost of a lot after the first of the year was discussed but was tabled until more information is available.

Election of officers was held and all current officers will hold their positions.  Officers are President Jackson, Vice President Robert Sliger Jr., Secretary Lou Ann Shafer and Treasurer Sharon Williams.

Other board members are Ned Ruble, Treva Flemming, Bruce Souers, Kevin Jackson, Larry Poulson, George Kreigbaum and Mark Stuckey.

The board will meet at the Jackson residence on Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. to discuss all tabled items.
