Local Boys & Girls Club names Snow, Engelberth as tops for July

The Boys & Girls Club of Huntington has announced its member and staff member of the month for July.

Ashlyn Snow was named Member of the Month.
Snow is 11 years old and will be a sixth-grader at Crestview Middle School in the fall.

At the club, Snow participates in Boost Club and art. She has been attending for the last three years.

Members receiving this honor have been nominated by staff on the basis of their display of leadership, positive attitude, high attendance and participation.

The staff member of the month was Jenna Engelberth.
This is her second summer working at the Boys & Girls Club as a youth development professional.

Engelberth is currently studying elementary education at Purdue University and will be a senior in the fall. She is also involved with the Purduettes, an all women's singing group. This summer, she has been organizing programs such as $4 Club, Cadet Reading, Princess Club and Junior Achievement's Lemonade Stand.

Staff receiving this honor have shown great leadership and have created a positive environment within their role at the club.
