Urban Legend to entertain at Taste of Roanoke
Thursday, August 1, 2013 7:35 AM
The Fort Wayne-based band Urban Legend will bring its rhythm and blues sound to Taste of Roanoke on Aug. 17.
This is the 20th year for the downtown Roanoke block party, which will feature food from Roanoke area restaurants along with the music from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Urban Legend, featuring vocalists Lisa McDavid and Lisa Loza, has been performing in the Fort Wayne area for more than six years. The band's repertoire includes classic rock and soul from the 1960s through today, played with a goal of getting the audience on the dance floor.
Rounding out the group are Matt Schory, guitar; Mike Rogers, piano and organ; Tony Zuber keyboard; Mike DuPuis, drums; and Mike Gevaart, bass.
