Local resident Koch earns Mich. State dean’s list

Huntington resident Kayla Koch earned a spot on the dean's list for both the fall and spring semesters at Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI.

The dean's list recognizes all full-time undergraduates in the university who earn a 3.5 or better grade point average.

Koch also was recognized as an Academic All-Big Ten selection, as an athlete representing the women's rowing program.  To be chosen for Academic All-Big Ten, athletes must achieve a 3.0 GPA and be a sophomore in academic standing.

Koch is the daughter of John and Joy Koch, of Huntington.
