The Huntington County Humane Society will host its first "Waggin' Tails Doggie Trails" Dog Walk on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The walk will take place on the Lime City Trail at Evergreen Park, 1390 Evergreen Rd. The rain date is Oct. 17.

In addition to the walk, the event will include pet photo opportunities, prizes for pets with the best Halloween costumes and prizes for high marks on an animal safety quiz. Items will be offered for sale at the Puppy Closet.
