Humane shelter Spay/Neuter Day changes date to July 2

The Huntington County Humane Shelter announces a change in the date of its Spay/Neuter Day.
The event will be held on July 2.
The shelter is teaming up with H.O.P.E. For Animals as part of a community outreach program.
There is a cost to spay or neuter a pet. Animals should be brought to the shelter on the morning of the surgery.
Pets will be available for pickup from the shelter on July 3, starting at 9 a.m.
H.O.P.E. will provide transportation for animals to and from its facility.
Pre-registration and payments are required by Tuesday, June 25.
Appointments can be made by calling the shelter at 356-0355. The shelter is open on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
The shelter is located at 390 Thurman Poe Way, Huntington.
