New certification

Pathfinder Community Connections announced on Friday, May 31, that it has achieved certification as a NeighborWorks HomeOwnership Center. Cutting the ribbon to celebrate that certification are (front row, from left) Jan Baumgartner, director of Pathfinder Community Connections; Milt Sharp, NeighborWorks America senior home ownership specialist; Steve Kimmel, executive director of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce; Rosa Wheeler, a member of the Pathfinder board of directors: John Niederman, president of Pathfinder Services; Bob Burnsworth, a member of the Pathfinder board of directors; State Rep. Dan Leonard; Dave McEowen, chairman of the Pathfinder Services board of directors; and Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters. The national NeighborWorks networks includes more than 235 non-profit organizations in every state, the district of Columbia and Puerto Rico. It assists individuals and families with affordable housing and counseling.
