Lions award scholarships to Hiner and Geideman

The Huntington County Lions Clubs of Andrews, Bippus, Huntington and Roanoke have awarded scholarships to Huntington North High School seniors Jaclyn Hiner and Cheyanne Geideman.

Hiner, awarded $500, is the daughter of Robert and Lisa Hiner. She plans to attend Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne.

She has been a member of student council, class council, National Honor Society, 4-H Junior Leaders and Leading Leos. She has been in the Top 25 of her class all four years of high school.

Geideman, also awarded $500, is the daughter of Mona Geideman. She plans to attend Purdue University.
While in high school she has given many hours to community service projects. She is actively involved with Girl Scouts.

She has won many local and regional art awards. During her senior year, she was president of Student Council, German Club and Leading Leos.
