A baccalaureate service for the Huntington North High School Class of 2013 will be held on Sunday, June 2, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
Tannan Peters, a 2009 HNHS graduate, will be the speaker. Peters graduated from Grace College this spring and plans to attend seminary at Grace this fall.
Music for the evening will be provided by members of the graduating class.
Attendance at the baccalaureate ceremony is voluntary.
The service, the 20th annual, is sponsored by parents and is being planned by members of this year's graduating class, Youth for Christ staff members and a parent baccalaureate committee.
Terry and Flav Ann Karst are chairs of the committee, which includes parents of juniors and seniors from several local churches. Committee members are Jay and Carlene Peters, Joel and Jane Daas, Ron and Julie Goetz, Steve and Laura Shoemaker, Todd and Bev Carpenter, Mike and Peggy Easley and Marty and Tammy Bailey.
Graduation ceremonies will be held on June 7 at 7 p.m. in the HNHS gymnasium.
