Right to Life to hold annual carnation sales fund-raiser

Huntington County Right to Life will hold its 35th annual Mother's Day carnation sale Friday through Sunday, May 10, 11 and 12.

Long-stemmed carnations, corsages and vases will be sold on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Right to Life office, 34 E. Washington St., Huntington.

The flowers can be purchased on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the RTL office as well as JCPenney, Huggy Bear on Etna Avenue, Family Dollar and Subway in Huntington Plaza. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, flowers will be available at Walgreens.

Long-stemmed carnations and corsages will be sold at Masses on Saturday and Sunday at St. Joseph, St. Mary and SS. Peter and Paul Catholic churches.

Corsages, vases and large quantities can be ordered in advance by calling the Right to Life office at 356-5933. Office hours are 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit pro-life efforts in Huntington County.
