Burson, Hacker named to education honor society

Two local residents were inducted into Huntington University's Omega Psi Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi.
Ashley Burson and Anne Hacker were two of 15 students inducted during a ceremony on April 16.
Burson is a senior elementary education major from Roanoke.
Hacker is a sophomore elementary and special education major from Huntington.
Kappa Delta Pi is the international honor society in education. Education majors who are at least second semester sophomores and whose overall grade point average is at least a 3.5 are eligible for membership in Kappa Delta Pi.
Dr. Terrell Peace, professor in education at HU, serves as the chapter counselor for Omega Psi.
