Habitat, ReStore to celebrate Earth Day Saturday

Huntington County Habitat for Humanity and the Huntington ReStore will team up to host an event on Saturday, April 20, in observance of Earth Day.

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. various activities will be held inside and outside the ReStore building.

Entertainment will include the Joy Pleasers clown ministry, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be demonstrations each hour throughout the event as well.
Outside, local vendors will be on hand, providing demonstrations of their products. They include, Saving Grace - Pam Kessie; M ‘n' M - Melissa Thornsbury; Simple Things - Becky Masterson Bates; Karra's Kreations - Karra Ferguson; Maple Grove at Silver Creek - Mitchell Garisson; and Lahr's Mowing and Landscaping.

Free food, including hot dogs and ice cream, will also be available.

The ReStore is located on Hauenstein Road.
