Safety council to hold program about personal safety on May 8

The Huntington County Safety Council will hold a personal safety program at Huntington University's Habecker Dining Commons on Wednesday, May 8, at 11:30 a.m.
The program will teach situational awareness, knowing your environment, having a plan and what to do when all else fails.
It will be presented by Doug Ungemach, Park- view Huntington Hospital Safety Coordinator.
A lunch of roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, California blend with cheese, tossed salad, pineapple upside down cake and assorted rolls will be served.
There is a charge to attend the event.
