Monday, April 8, 2013 8:54 AM
Pathfinder Community Connections, the Community Development division of Pathfinder Services, received a $450 donation from Lake City Bank to be used for its financial fitness program.
Paula Whiting, assistant vice-president for Lake City Bank in Huntington, presented the check to Natalie Fisher, home buyer education coordinator for Pathfinder Community Connections, at the Pathfinder North Campus in Huntington.
The donation allows for Pathfinder Community Connections to continue offering financial fitness workshops to potential homeowners.
The workshops cover the topics of financial planning, credit, predatory lending, insurance, banking and budgeting. During the program, participants receive a free copy of their credit report.
For upcoming financial fitness workshops please contact Fisher at 356-0521 ext. 3213 or via e-mail at nfisher@pathfinderser vices.org.
