Indiana Michigan Power to conduct aerial surveys of high voltage lines

Indiana Michigan Power will conduct aerial inspections of its high voltage lines during April.
The inspections will take place throughout Indiana, Ohio and Michigan, with flights over northeast Indiana set for April 12-18.
The Bell Jet Ranger helicopter is burgundy and white with silver stripes. It will fly 50 to 100 feet above the lines at a speed of 40 to 45 mph, covering about 350 miles a day. Flights will take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
