Roanoke Kiwanis to offer at least two $500 scholarships to high school seniors

The Roanoke Kiwanis will award at least two $500 scholarships to high school seniors who live in Jackson Township, attended Roanoke Elementary School and are planning a course of post-secondary study.

One of the scholarships is named in honor of a founding member of the Roanoke Kiwanis, DeLoss Hartley.

Scholarship applications can be picked up at the Huntington North High School guidance office or at www.discoverroanoke.org.

Applications need to be filled out and returned to the Scholarship Selection Committee at 423 W. Vine St., Roanoke, IN 46783.
A personal narrative, copies of transcripts, SAT/ACT scores and letters of reference are required as part of the application.
