Sharon Kay (center), who will retire March 31 as director of the Huntington County Free Clinic, receives a commendation from Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters in recognition of her service to the community in the founding and operation of the clinic. With them is Midge Decker (left), chairman of the clinic advisory board. Kay was instrumental in founding the clinic eight years ago and has served as its director for more than four years. Fetters said the clinic is "a valuable resource that enhances the quality of life of our citizens" and that Kay's service is "an excellent example of neighbor helping neighbor."
