Zanesville council adopts zoning amendments

The Zanesville Town Council adopted amendments to the zoning ordinance proposed by the Wells County Planning Commission during its Thursday, March 21, meeting.

Michael Lautzenheiser, Wells County Planning Commission director, was present at the meeting to explain the amendments to council.

The amendments adopted by council concerned a revised ordinance violation fee schedule and a clarification on the public use area for confined animal feeding operations.

Council tabled discussion on wind energy centers and shadow flicker so that the amendments relating to those parts of the zoning ordinance can be reviewed further by the planning commission.
