Derek Dyer (left), president of the Huntington Rotary Club, and Rich Beaver (second from left), the club's treasurer, present a $1,000 check from the club to Megan Schroeder, food pantry coordinator at Love INC, and Joey Spiegel, Love INC's executive director. Spiegel is holding a pound of ground beef, one of the 384 pounds of beef purchased for the food pantry with the donation. The meat should last through the first of the year, Spiegel says. Dyer said the money came from the club's annual fund-raisers, and club members decided to make the donation after Love INC posted a plea for meat on its Facebook page.
