The American Business Women's Association elected Michelle L. Crone to the position of District V Vice President of ABWA during the 63rd annual conference in Memphis, TN.
Crone will represent five states, which include Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and West Virginia.
Crone is a Business Banking Administrative Manager with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.
While located in Huntington, her team members are across nine counties in northwest Indiana. As a 19-year member of the Wells Fargo team, she has advanced her career seven times.
"ABWA has allowed me to grow personally and professionally through leadership and education. As a result of the support and self confidence I built in ABWA I began to pursue my college degree in Business Administration Management in the evenings while working full-time in 2008," she says.
"Without ABWA I honestly believe that I would not be where I am today. ABWA has given me valuable experience, amazing courage and many opportunities to achieve things that seemed out of reach."
Crone is currently involved with the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce as a Chamber Ambassador and the Heritage Days Committee. In 2010, she served as the board president for Huntington County Habitat for Humanity and continues to be active. She is chairing the "Silver Anniversary Cruise Gala" coming up in 2013 to celebrate the beginning of Habitat's 25th year in Huntington County. In 2009, she was honored as the Ambassador of the Year by Huntington County Chamber of Commerce.
