The Junior Volunteers from Helping Paws Pet Haven, a no-kill feline facility in Huntington, will host a costume skating party on Saturday, Oct. 27.

The party will be held at West Park Skate, located at 2986 W. Park Drive, in Huntington, and will last from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Prizes will be given out for the scariest costume, cutest costume and most original costume in three different age brackets.

All ages are welcome to attend.

There is a fee for tickets at the door and no charge if one is just there to watch the skaters.

Bringing any kind of canned cat food, dry cat food or kitty litter to help the cats at Helping Paws is encouraged and those who do will receive a small token of appreciation.

All proceeds from the party will go to buying cat food.
