Seven Huntington County 4-H members recently participated in State 4-H Round Up, held at Purdue University June 22 through 24.

Alyssa Aughinbaugh, Clear Creek Township; Brandon Elliott, Lancaster Township; Robert Sliger III, Jefferson Township; Lauren Daas, Huntington Township, Alisha Ford, Rock Creek Township; Tess Widener, Salamonie Township and Caleb Smart, of Jackson Township participated in a variety of activities on the Purdue University campus, including a community service project for the Ronald McDonald House, career exploration sessions throughout the Purdue campus, afternoon recreation at the Recreational Sports Center and an evening at the Ross-Ade football stadium pavilion.

The nearly 600 delegates from around the state of Indiana also were entertained with musical performances from the state 4-H Band and Chorus and award winning acts of the 4-H Share the Fun Talent Contest.

Ashley Ambriole, Jackson Township 4-H member, was one of the nearly 20 4-H talent acts performing on the Loeb Theater Stage for the Round-Up delegates. Ambriole presented her first place jump rope routine from the Area XI Share the Fun contest, held earlier this spring.

The Huntington County 4-H Leaders Organization provided the funds to pay the registration fees for these youth to attend this statewide 4-H educational workshop.
