United Way cabinet prepares for 2009 campaign

The United Way of Huntington County Campaign Cabinet has been engaged in planning for the 2009 annual United Way fund drive for the last four months.

Locally, United Way supports and funds 15 organizations and agencies.

Michael Zahn, First Federal Savings Bank president and 2009 United Way campaign chair, states, "As we move forward toward the beginning of this year's campaign, I'm excited about the enthusiasm and support from this year's campaign cabinet."

Among the list of cabinet members are John Easterday, Bippus State Bank; Brooks Fetters, Myers Funeral Home; Joel Jerabek, UT Electronic Controls; Steve Kimmel; Jeremy Nix, Matheny Hahn Denman & Nix; Oscar Rodriguez, Ecolab; Matt Roth, DeLaney Hartburg Roth & Garrott; Sandy Seacott, Teachers Credit Union; Tracey Shafer, Huntington County Community Schools; and Ed Vessels, HiValu, LLC.

He adds that the organization has assembled a great team for this year's campaign and expressed excitement in getting things kicked off with Pacesetters.

The 2009 Pacesetter companies include Beacon Credit Union, First Federal Savings Bank, Mignonoe Communications, Pathfinder Services, Shuttleworth and Teachers Credit Union.
