Quilt show planning taking place now for April
Monday, February 18, 2013 7:57 AM
The Historic Forks of the Wabash and the Piecemakers Quilt Club are in the planning stages of their annual quilt show, to be held on April 20 and 21.
Show times are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on April 20 and 1 to 4 p.m. on April 21.
The planning committee is seeking quilters with their projects. Items being sought include quilts, wall hangings, table runners, bed runners and purses.
There is no fee to enter the show and participants can enter as many items as they wish.
In addition, a new category has been created for youth age 12 and above.
Judging is divided into three categories, hand-pieced and quilted quilts; machine-pieced and quilted quilts; and all other quilted items.
There will also be a garage sale on both days and donated items are being accepted.
Deadline for entries is April 15. To register, email to Mary Tobin at email@example.com or Janice Smith at Janice@ hotmail.com or call 356-1903.
