Preschoolers will learn about worms during Salamonie program March 13
Monday, February 18, 2013 7:28 AM
Preschool-age children are invited to Salamonie Preschool's Wiggle Worms program on March 13.
The program will run from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and then again from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Salamonie Interpretive Center in Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area in Andrews.
Students will learn about the importance of worms as nature's recyclers and make a recycling box to take home.
Salamonie Preschool programs are designed to enhance the preschooler's basic education. Activities include learning the alphabet, crafts, interaction with other children and time outdoors, always with a nature-related theme.
There is a cost per child for the program. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Advance registration is appreciated. Register by calling 468-2127.
Salamonie Lake is at 9214 W. Lost Bridge West, Andrews.
